For our students, to have a good command of English reading skill is of great importance. Knowing how to learn is more important than acquiring a lot of knowledge. PART 2 Analysis of the teaching material(教材分析) TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDS(教学目标)·To practice vocabulary relating to music.·To read and understand a newspaper article.·To express opinions and give reasons for them.TEACHING KEY & DIFFICULT POINTS(教学重难点)·How to grasp the main ideas of the article and each paragraph.·To comprehend the content of the text clearly and quickly.·Some students may feel less confident in expressing their own opinions orally and giving reasons in English .·TEACHING AIDS: (教学用具)·Multi-media computer ; Software: Power pointPART 3 Teaching methods and learning methods(教学方法) Task-based teaching method as a guideline is applied to the design of this lesson. To achieve teaching aims above, I use different kinds of teaching and learning methods as follows:1. Skimming & scanning method.2. Communicative method, including asking and answering method, discussing method.3. Visual-teaching method including picture-showing and videos.4.
